She was predeceased by: her parents, Enrique Mendez and Petrolina Mendez; her husband Ventura Garza; her son Augustine Garza; and her siblings, Tomas, Leon, Sixto, Henry, Antonio, Jonathan Mendez and Trinidad Carbajal.
She is survived by: her children, Henry Garza (Enrique), Maria Fuentes and Ventura Jr. Garza; and her brothers, Juan Mendez and Jose Isabel Mendez. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and many cherished godchildren.
