He was predeceased by: his parents, Sally Mejia and Marcelino Martinez; his grandmother Julia Nunez; his uncles, Max and Henry Mejia; and his siblings, Tito Martinez and Patricia Gonzalez.
He is survived by: his close friend Alice Ramirez; his son Gabriel Martinez Jr. (Fransheska Andrade); and his grandchildren, Layla Martinez, Anthony Andrade and Saul Andrade.
