He is survived by: his children, Angela Bartell of Costa Rica, Jason Thompson of Oklahoma and Christina Thompson of California; and his sisters, Loretta Stigman of California and Darlene Durham of California. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
