Pieter David Tillema Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pieter David Tillema in Diamond Bar, California, who passed away on September 12, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Janice Tillema; his parents, Johannies Tillema (Joe) and Hillegiena Tillema (Hilda); and his siblings, Jake Tillema and Miriam Tillema.

He is survived by: his significant other Phyllis Soto; his sons, Sean Tillema and David Tillema; his daughter-in-law Rachel; his grandchildren, Rylan and Landon; and his siblings, Eddie Tillema, Louie Tillema and Anja Postma Tillema. He is also survived by his family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
