She was predeceased by: her parents, Reedy Pearson and Lillian Pearson; her husband John Theodore Olais, Jr.; and her sister Diana Pearson. She is survived by: her son David Olais; her daughter-in-law Teresa Olais; her siblings, George Pearson, Vickie Downs and Regina Pearson; and her grandchildren, Janel Rodriguez and Anthony Rodriguez. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and dear friends.
