He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Vaughn and Nellie Smith; his brothers, Rudolph, Robert and Jack Vaughn; and his son-in-law Jeffrey Kelley.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Vaughn; his children, Janet Kelley, Geoffrey Vaughn and Audra Vaughn; and his grandchildren, Krysten Vaughn, Lexie Vaughn and Austin Lehfeldt. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
