He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Francisco Castaneda and Juana Garcia; his former wife Joan Marie Rapisarda; his sons, David Castaneda and Tony Castaneda; his wife Lydia Mae Perez of San Antonio; and his stepchildren, Vita Rose Rapisarda, Kathy Orr, Kevin William Rapisarda and Brian Stanley.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Sacramento National Cemetery (5810 Midway Rd, Dixon, CA 95620). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery (5810 Midway Rd, Dixon, CA 95620).
