He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorene Simpson and Cecil Simpson. He is survived by: his significant other Akiyo Isabelle; his children, Jeff Simpson and Jennie Longmire; and his grandchildren, Evan Simpson, Jordan Simpson, Benjamin Longmire and Samuel Longmire.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery (5810 Midway Rd, Dixon, CA 95620).
