She was predeceased by: her parents, William Alva Smith and Martha Smith; her husband Jim Phelen; and her son Floyd Phelen. She is survived by: her children, Sherian Chastain (Gary), Verna Buechett (John), Teri Martinez, Jeannie Campbell (Paul), Arnold Phelen (Jenny) and Jim Phelen (Janice). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fierro Family Funeral Home (1702 Golden Gate Ave, Dos Palos, CA 93620). A committal service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dos Palos District Cemetery (1800 Elgin Ave, Dos Palos, CA 93620).
