It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Gene Scales of Earlimart, California, born in McCurtain, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 10, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Scales and Emma Scales; and his siblings, Bonnie Nugent, Robert and Glynn Scales.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Scales; his children, Charise Richards (John), Dan Scales (Michelle) and Aimee Guess (Troy); his grandchildren, Danielle, Whitney, Austin, Summer, Kallie, Kimree, Kaitlyn and Jase; and his great grandchildren, AJ, Mason, Hudson, Felicity, Kenna, Barrett, Sequoia, Breanna, Arianna, Judah and Ariyah.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Valley Baptist Church (4800 Fruitvale Ave, Bakersfield, CA 93308).
