With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lydia H. Lopez (East Los Angeles, California), born in Van Nuys, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 16, 2025 at the age of 84. Though Lydia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lydia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Richard, Carlos, Hector, Eva, Lydia, Lucy and Tanya. She was also cherished by her 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
To know Lydia was to experience the presence of someone truly special, a woman who lived her life as a testament to the virtues of faith, hope, and charity.
