We bid farewell to Khalid Ismail Alkhoury of El Cajon, California, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 24, 2025 at the age of 76. Khalid touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Khalid leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Khalid may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ismail Alkhoury and Khuzami Gorguis; his wife Maha; and his children, Karum, Husam, Ann and Sarah. He was also cherished by 3 Grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Michael Chaldean Catholic Church (799 E Washington Ave, El Cajon, CA 92020). A burial will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the El Cajon Cemetery (2080 Dehesa Rd, El Cajon, CA 92019). A reception will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Palms Banquet Hall (143 E Main St, El Cajon, CA 92020).
