It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Charlotte (Koch) Bender (El Cajon, California), who passed away on July 22, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was a mother to Linda and Landis, to their children Chauntell, Cordell, Landis, Selena, Meghan, and Kersten. She raised Chauntell’s children Malloreigh and Shelby like her own daughters. She was a hard worker who worked the switchboards at the Coronado hotel and walker Scott’s. A dedicated mother who hosted girl scout meetings. Was a patriot who used her garage as a polling place. She is dearly loved by everyone she met and the last to pass of that generation in our family May the matriarch now fly free like a butterfly and our memories of her life bring us joy in this saddest of moments.
