We are sad to announce that, on January 12, 2026, at the age of 73, Richard Andrew Halliday of El Cajon, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Richard departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Richard leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Halliday and Lois Halliday of Grand Rapids, Michigan.. He is survived by: his siblings, Carol Halliday Murphy (Jerry), Marcia Halliday and James Halliday (Tamerie); and his cousin Sue Cody. He is also survived by 2 nieces and 1 nephew as well as 7 grand nieces and nephews.
