With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Andrew Richard Neureuther (El Cerrito, California), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 9, 2025 at the age of 84. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Andrew Wesley Neureuther and Mary Tuschhoff Neureuther; his son Scout; his former spouse Beverly "Bev" Hufford; his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Collins; his daughters, Natalie (Eric Page), Georgia Neureuther, Jenny (Isaac Hall) and Samantha (Tyler Stradleigh); his grandchildren, Kevin, Tom Page, Dylan, Sarah Weitz, Edwin and Patrick Stradleigh; and his sisters, Cynthia Beckett, Marjorie Cline and Janet Burkhart.
Andy is a recipient of a National Science Foundation Cooperative Fellowship and is a Fellow of IEEE.
