He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ruby Gaudet Crews and Maurice Augustus Crews; his daughters, Gretchen Detre and Ingrid Crews; his grandchildren, Alejandro, Rebeca Márquez, Isabel and Aaron Detre; his great grandchild Yael Medrano Márquez; his sister Frances James; his nieces, Sigrid Bonner, Helen James and Avis James; Elizabeth Crews (Betty).
