She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parent Rico Thi Le; her husband Truc Manh Nguyen-Dang; her son Vutu Nguyen; her siblings, Hung Phi, Tuan Phi, Thinh Phi and Quang Phi; and her pet Tofu.

“My sincere condolences to the family of Vuong Phi. Despite your grief try and focus on all the good times and great memories you had with her. What a blessing to have had 72 years with her. The Bible assures us that God is here to help you through your grief. The Bible tells us at Psalm 34:18, "he is close to the brokenhearted; and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Prayer is a wonderful way to speak to God about your grief and the scriptures assure us he will comfort you.”
