Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Berniece Mae Reck of El Dorado Hills, California, who passed away at the age of 91, on September 14, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Darold Bussell and Esther Bussell; her daughter Rae Jean Reck; and her brothers, Jack Bussell and Dwayne Bussell.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Reck; her daughters, Debra Smith (Paul) of Vacaville and Diane Reck; her sister Phyllis Combe; her grandsons, Brandon Finazzo (Shannon), Gregory Finazzo (Sandra), Loren Finazzo, Christopher Rodriguez (Sarah) and Andrew Rodriguez (Taelor); and her great grandchildren, Giovanni, Vanessa, Devon, Linley, Fischer, Fiona, Sophia and Beverly Berniece. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Newton-Bracewell Funeral Home (680 Camellia Way, Chico, CA 95926). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bidwell Presbyterian Church (208 W 1st St, Chico, CA 95928).
