He is survived by: his wife Dianne Groll; his children, Jennifer Tamayo (Tony), Christina Kelley, Joseph Groll, Jr. (Delanie) and Stacie Groll; his grandchildren, Symone (Brooks), Cole, Ember, Keanna, Liam, Matilde, Travis and Lucas; his great grandchildren, Taesym and Bronx; and his sister Catherine. He is also survived by companion and the love of his life for 54 years.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation in Joe's memory to either the Red Cross, a charity he supported regularly, or to Sutter Home & Hospice Care, which provided invaluable comfort to Joe and his family in his final days.
