He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Smelser and Donald Smelser; his sister Stacey Ott; and his grandparents, Ed, Mary Kramer and Irene Smelser.
He is survived by: his sister Stacey Thomas (Mike); his niece Brittany Heissenbuttel (Will); his nephew Sean Thomas; and his great-nephews, Clayton and Walker Heissenbuttel.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Home of Mike and Stacey Thomas.
