With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Michael Mercado of Encinitas, California, born in Escondido, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 29, 2025 at the age of 58. He is survived by: his wife Shelley; his children, Michael and Maddie; his parents, Sheryl (Steve) and Robert (Leslie); his siblings, Kelly, Julie and Paul; his siblings' children, Max, Luke and Kate; his parents-in-law, Barbara and David (Brenda); and his siblings-in-law, Jack and Bonnie. He is also survived by family members and friends.
