She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Carnes and Helen Carnes (Reardon); and her daughter Lee. She is survived by: her husband John McIsaac; her daughters, Debby (Frank) and Kristin (Richard); her granddaughter Jordan (Erhan); and her son-in-law Jan.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her memory to The Institute for Poetic Medicine or to Self-Realization Fellowship.
