He is survived by: his wife Nancy Moore; his daughters, Karen Morris, Pamela Reifeiss and Jeannette Shields; his grandchildren, Katie, Kelsey, Tracey, Kerry, Megan, Brett, Connor and Aidan; his great grandchildren, Oliver, Emmett, Harvey, Rowan and Hallie; and his siblings, Harriette Underwood and John Moore. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the National Naval Aviation Museum in Dick's honor.
