He was predeceased by: his parents, John Machado Nunes and Mary Louise Nunes; his former wife Lorraine Nunes; and his siblings, John Nunes, Mary Augusto and Eleanor Vaz.
He is survived by: his wife Angelina Nunes; his children, Edward James Nunes, Escalon, Nadine Nunes, Modesto, Natalie Nunes, Lodi, Everett Nunes (Jennifer), Norine Nunes O'Sullivan (Jack, Sr.), Elliot Nunes, Luis Paul Cardoso, Cecelia Cardoso Qarqat (Emron), Hughson, Elizabeth Cardoso and Oakdale; his grandchildren, Jessica Welsh (Paul), Erica Nunes, James Nunes (Fallon), Edward Joseph Nunes II, Donna Nunes, Evan Nunes, Brock Nunes (Grace), Alyssa Nunes, Rylie Pascoe (Bryce), Jack O'Sullivan, Jr., Savannah Qarqat, Ashleigh Nunes, Emily O'Sullivan, Jocelyn Qarqat and Eileen O'Sullivan; his great grandchildren, Kianah Nunes, Reina Nunes, Ragan Nunes and Edward J. Welsh; and his godchildren, Kenney Pombo, Anna Augusto, Valerie Vaz, John Nunes, Jr., Ed Teixeira, Arthur Teixeira and Miguel Lopes.
