It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Abraham D Marcus of Escondido, California, who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick D. Marcus and Cornelia Marcus; his wife Doris; his son Stephen Marcus; his grandson Samuel Marcus; his daughter Julia Marcus; his brothers, Richard (Dorothy Marcus), Stanley (Vivian Marcus) and Donald Marcus; and his brother-in-law Marvin Talsma.

He is survived by: his children, Catherine Silva, Charlotte Marcus, Richard (Linda Marcus), Martha (Frank Emery), Andy (Patty Marcus), Kenneth (Bonnie Marcus), John (Amy Marcus), Linda (CJ) and Dulk; his siblings, Cordell (Sharon Marcus) and Marcia Talsma; and his sister-in-law Doris Marcus. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren with their spouses, and 32 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Escondido United Reform Church (1864 N Broadway, Escondido, CA 92026).
