He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Slack and Eleanor Slack; his wife Ellen Maxine Slack (Drew); and his stepson Steven Michael Shirk. He is also survived by his brothers, daughter, stepdaughter, stepson, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
