Donna Allene Jenkins Obituary
Donna Allene Jenkins was born in Lakeview, Michigan, on May 28, 1951, though she considered herself a Colorado native, having spent most of her upbringing in Montrose, Colorado. She passed away in Escondido, California, on September 23, 2026, surrounded by her family and friends.
Donna is survived by her three sons, Lincoln Sammons of Encinitas, California; Noah Crouch (Candace) of Cardiff, California; and Travis Crouch (Emily) of Des Moines, Iowa.
She also leaves behind four grandchildren: Hayden Sammons; Kaleb Crouch; and Theo and Georgia Crouch. Additionally, she is survived by her brothers, Howard Jenkins (Susan) of Centennial, Colorado; Ron Jenkins (Janet) of Montrose, Colorado; and Jerry Jenkins of Castle Rock, Colorado; her sister, Dea Ann Jenkins of Escondido, California; her aunt, Betty (Jenkins) Stringer of Grand Junction, Colorado; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Dorothy Jenkins and her grandparents, Howard and Faye Jenkins and Cleo and Ada Moore, all of Montrose, Colorado.
Donna was compassionate and loving, possessed a wonderful sense of humor, and was always the life of the party. As a dedicated single mother to three sons, she often worked three jobs to provide for them; it was well known that they were her pride and joy. She served as their greatest cheerleader, spending her Fridays and Saturdays traveling between games, where she could always be found on the sidelines cheering them on.
She considered herself truly blessed to have four grandchildren. She cherished the time they spent together and would plan her vacations around their school schedules, as she simply could not get enough of them.
Donna enjoyed cheering for the Broncos and the Padres, attending concerts, going on family outings to the beach, gardening, cooking, waterskiing, boating, and traveling. She was happiest when spending time with her loved ones. Everyone who knew her loved her, and she will be deeply missed. The world shines a little less brightly without her smile.
