She is survived by: her children, Judy Maxine Balzer-Pickard (Fredholm Balzer), Nan Teresa Garcia of San Diego, California and Robert F. Pickard Jr. of Escondido, California; her grandchildren, Isiah Loftin, Gabriel Pickard and Maura Lickard; her great grandchildren, Pedro Pickard, Ovie Okajeva and Leo Okajeva; and her siblings, Gerald Phelps of Simms, NC and Linda Phelps of Newburg, NC..
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (4470 Hilltop Dr, San Diego, CA 92102).
