It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Dean Wertner of Escondido, California, born in Phoenix, Arizona, who passed away on September 13, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Knight and Fern Knight; her daughters, Susan Ward (Ken) and Tami Chapman (Mark); her husband Tom Wertner; and her siblings, Russ, Peggy and Ray.

She is survived by: her children, Tim Wertner (Heather), Tara Wach (Brian), Trisha MacQueen (Charlie) and Tanya. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 16 loving grandchildren, and 12 Great Grandchildren.
