It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Christopher Wickliffe of Escondido, California, who passed away on April 20, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, John Christopher is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wickliffe and Elizabeth G Wickliffe; and his brother Robert Thomas Wickliffe. He is survived by: his sons, JP Wickliffe of Chiloquin, Paul Jeffrey Wickliffe (Sue) of Omaha and Steven Taylor Wickliffe of Anaconda, Montana..

A graveside service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Hill Memorial Park (2640 Glenridge Rd, Escondido, CA 92027).

Last summer I spent the entire summer in San Marcos California with him, and Im so glad I got the time to do that with him I will hold that close to my heart. So many memories with him I'm going to miss him a lot We went through fun times sad times, and everything life had thrown our way together. Rest your tired soul now my friend I love you”
