He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Cassel Bloom Sr. and Florence Bloom (Roshon); his wife Lois A. Bloom; his daughters, Suzanne and Lisa; his grandsons, Matthew, Nicholas and David; his sons-in-law, Bart and Don; his sister Phyllis Richardson; his sister-in-law Shirlee Nicolino; and his son Sammy. He was also cherished by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested donations to Save the Children or The World Food Program.
