“When I was a teenager in Sacrament, Bob Lang often hung around our house: I was sure he was in love with my sister, Erin. So much in love, that he taught me how to drive stick shift in his new Ford Mustang car. In 1967, when my sister was living overseas, A major fan of the Beatles, Bob took me and his brother, Dick, to see the Beatles at Candlestick Park (my sister was unavailable). Bob also served as the emcee and music master at our mother's celebration of life in 1995. He was special to us.”
