“In loving memory of Tom Jasper Matheny, I am so saddened and heartbroken to learn of Uncle TJ's passing. I stumbled upon this while searching for a way to contact him after losing touch over a year ago. Uncle TJ (the last of my Dad's brothers) was my favorite uncle and the smartest, analytical man I knew. He taught me so much. We often delighted in the similarities of our lives and careers. I will deeply miss him. To Leona, Brenda, and Carol: please accept our most heartfelt sympathies.”
