She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Reeves and Sadie Reeves; her daughter Sue Ellen; her husband Donald J. Hepner; her daughter Donna; and her granddaughter Alida.

She is survived by: her daughter Mary. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren.

Veda volunteered countless hours at the American Cancer Society and also used her talent to make hundreds of crocheted baby bonnets and hats to donate to local hospitals throughout the years.
