It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleno R. Padilla (Fairfield, California), who passed away on October 1, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleno Padilla and Simona Padilla; his former wife Rosa Ana; and his grandsons, Alfredo Delacruz and Edward Padilla.

He is survived by: his wife Maria Dolores; his children, Frank, Peter (Cathy), Elaine Delacruz (Alfredo), Rosemary Whalen (Bill), Hope Mancilla, Jessica Padilla Hernandez and Sandra Gilkey (David); and his siblings, Francisco, Genaro, Jesus and Soledad. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.

Your Father (Grandfather) was one of the first men I grew to know when I started just after Thanksgiving in 1972. There is a whole host of men that I worked with but Eleno was one of a kind. There's not enough space here to tell you all the memories I have of your Father but I want you all to know that I will miss him.”
