With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gertrude Wynsen (Fairfield, California), born in Cranston, Rhode Island, who passed away on December 10, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Horn and Mary Horn; her husband Eugene R; and her siblings, William Horn, Joseph Horn, Gerard Horn, Elizabeth Garabedian (Betty) and James Horn.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Rigoni, Laura DeKloe (James), Thomas Wynsen (Julie), Joe Wynsen, Andrew Wynsen (Dana), Nancy Turtle (Donald) and Jenifer Mercer; and her grandchildren, Adam, Amanda, Andrew (Rachel), Jackson (Georgina), Jefferson, Jill, Kate, Matthew, Owen, Shae and Thomas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Norbert's school for tuition scholarships.
