With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Edward Nyquist of Fairfield, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nyquist and Alice Nyquist; his parents-in-law, Arne and Ragna Ring; his sisters-in-law, Carrie Nyquist and Carol Ring; and his great-niece Kellin Schoenfelder.
He is survived by: his sons, Andrew Nyquist of Fairfield, CA, Erik Nyquist (Magnolia) of Las Cruces, NM and Kevin Nyquist (Betty) of Lynnwood, WA; his wife Patty Nyquist; his grandson Arne; his siblings, Larry Nyquist, Richard Nyquist (Cheryl), Bill Nyquist (Lucy) and Kathleen Nyquist; his sisters-in-law, Sandra Larson (Dennis), Karen Sillerud (Ron) and Diann Beckman (Alvis); his siblings' children, Sherry Lewis (Doug), Jenny Babakhan (Ed), Derek Nyquist, Tyler Nyquist (Sara), Zachary Nyquist (Berenice), Stephanie Nyhus, Chad Larson, Jessica Schoenfelder, Natalie Anderson (Jay), Ryan Sillerud, Drew Beckman (Lindsey) and Quinn Beckman Olson; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Bryce, Bradley Babakhan, Elise Lewis, Noah Nyquist, Madison Stewart (Brian), Brady (Natalie), Megan, Ryan Schoenfelder, Cora, Oakley Anderson, Cooper Beckman, Parker Olson, Teagan and Westin Beckman.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
