She was predeceased by: her parents, Evertis Smith Sr. and Rebra Faye Smith Wright; her stepfather Willie John Wright; and her son Shaun Alexander Newson. She is survived by: her siblings, Evertis Smith Wright of Fairfield, Brenda Wright Horsley of Vacaville and Jeffrey Smith Wright of Oceanside. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
