She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Taliaferro and Kathryn Taliaferro; her brother Ronald; and her sister-in-law JoAnn Taliaferro. She is survived by : her husband Richard Truex; her children, Keith Truex (Danielle) of Fairfield and Robin Boraas (Marc Schneider) of Sacramento; her grandsons, Brodie, Kasey Boraas of Sacramento and Mateo Rodriguez (Liz) of Washington; her great grandchild Katalina Rodriguez of Washington; and her brother Frank Taliaferro (Gwyn) of Honolulu, HI. She is also survived by aunts, nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bryan-Braker Funeral Home (1850 W Texas St, Fairfield, CA 94533). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the SonRise-New Life Church (5900 Cherry Glen Rd, Vacaville, CA 95687).
