He was predeceased by : his parents, Peter Klein and Marilynn Klein; and his children, Julianne Newman (Ahan), Pete Klein (Kimberly), Erica Huebner (Tyler), Kaitlin, Addison, Bennett, Declan Klein, Ryan and Emily Huebner.

He is survived by : his wife Denise; his grandchildren, Alia and Elana Newman; and his brother Dennis Klein. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many, many dear friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation, an organization whose mission Peter valued and supported .
