He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Cantrell and Cora Cantrell (Taylor); his siblings, Lorena Ballard, Billy Joe and Almouth; his son JB (Bobby Cantrell); his grandchildren, Janet Cantrell and George Thomas; his son-in-law Jim Horn; and his great grandchildren, Taylar Gunter, Daniella and Gabriella Ayala.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Cantrell; his daughters, Lori Horn, Barbara Mayfield (Steve) and Janice Schieferle (Don); his daughter-in-law Judi Thomas Dean; and his caregivers, Penny and Virginia. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
