Though Leta may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Leta touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Deward Lowrey and Verna Lowrey; and her siblings, Norman Lowrey and Joyce Scheffler. She is survived by: her husband Don Chapman; and her children, Greg Chapman and Lynette DeWilde. She is also survived by four grandchildren, and eight great grandkids.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Lakeside Memorial (1201 Forrest St, Folsom, CA 95630).
