“I just heard of Lisa's passing today, 3/11/18 through a colleague. I'm deeply saddened to hear of this news. Lisa was such a special person with a contagious laugh and smile. We meet back in 2000 when working on the Webby Awards - and became instant friends - with much respect for our respective fields and contribution to the work at hand. She was such a great person to spend time with! My fondest memory is when she invited me to the Lion King! We had such a lovely time - we laughed, we cried, we celebrated. My heart is heavy, my eyes red, my cheeks wet with tears. I will miss you my dear friend. - With love, John Caron”
