With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phil Wheeler of Fontana, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 9, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn and Lily; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Lynette (Jacob), David Alexander (Melissa), Diane Renae, Rachel Elizabeth and Daniel Benjamin Lanford (Tyisa); his grandchildren, Joseph, Aaron, Cy, Jonathan Wheeler, Joshua, Dylan Scott and Daniel Wheeler, Jr.; his wife Renae Merrell; and his siblings, Dennis (Carolyn), Michael, Neil (Jacquie), Cheryl (Richard) and Ben (Sharon).
Viewing will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:40 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (7526 Alder Ave, Fontana, CA 92336). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lehi City Cemetery.
