We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Shirley Jean Thomsen of Fortuna, California, born in Rawlins, Wyoming. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Ralph McClurg; her husband James S. Thomsen; her mother Alma Strandberg Matthiesen; and her stepfather Jake Matthiesen. She is survived by : her sons, Duane Thomsen (Jackie), Melvin Thomsen (Sharon) and Erik Thomsen (Judi). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Humboldt or Fortuna United Methodist Church.
