She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Sanji Miyashiro. She is survived by: her children, James Miyashiro (Jessica), Petra Ablaza (Fernando) and Marie Miyashiro (Amy Umezu); and her siblings, Shigeko Kinjo, Masao Tsukayama and Yoshiko Tsukayama. She is also survived by four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
