Yoshihiko Matsumae Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Yoshihiko Matsumae of Fountain Valley, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Yoshihiko shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Yoshihiko farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He is survived by: his wife Chizuko Matsumae; his children, Dean Masahiko Matsumae (Angy) and Caroline Yumiko Matsumae; his grandchildren, Mallory Yuri and Shane Yoshihiko Matsumae; his siblings, Masae Takehara (Manri) and Shiro Matsumae (Mihoko) of Japan; and his nieces and nephews, Atsuko Takehara, Chisei Kakuda (Hiroki) of Japan, Hiroshi Takehara and Jun Matsumae of Japan.
