“Butch and I had many memories since our days playing Little League in the mid-50’s, We continued playing through High School at Ayer High School. We played on that great team of 65’ that went to the State Finals. Even after retirement I would always stop and see Butch and Glenn, Talk about the days! Will miss him, but look forward to seeing him again, in the near future (John 5:28,29). My sincerest condolences to the family. Gilbert Gonzalez”

We could always count on his hearty greeting, a walk down for a chat, his watchful eye on the neighborhood and on Mom and Dad in particular. His way of connecting people and creating community was legendary. We’ll miss his huge heart.”

“Butch lived 2-doors from my parents for 50 years. He was a local institution, with his wave from his garage or a walk down for a chat at the curb, he knew everyone’s name & was self-designated Neighborhood Watch. Butch always kept a watchful eye out, checking on any unusual activity. My parents lived 2-doors from him the rest of their lives. In later years he visited often. Butch cared for everyone & left a unique mark on his neighborhood: a genuine friend & his trademark neighborhood watch. RIP”
