He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herculano and Alcaria; his wife Catherine Herrera; his children, Angela Taylor of Idaho, Diane Herrera of Fremont, CA, Daniel Herrera of Newark, CA, Ronald Garcia-Herrera of New Mexico and Steven Herrera of Fremont, CA.; his siblings, Frances Gomez, Bernadette Hemperly, Jim Garcia, Bill Garcia, Mike Garcia, Steve Garcia, Charolette Esquibel (Nina) and John Garcia; and his sister-in-law Jean Delgado of New Mexico. He was also cherished by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
