He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Jabra Antonius Obeid and Marie George Farra; his sibling Mouna Haddad (Ibrahim Sami Haddad); his daughter Dr. Lina Marie Obeid; his wife Rosette Jiryis (Zacharia); his sons, Kamal (Rosemary), Ramzi and Jihad (Eileen); his son-in-law Dr. Yusuf Awni Hannun; his grandchildren, Mona (Janmeja Heir), Sammy Obeid, Reem (Khaled Moussawi), Awni (Kathy), Marya Hannun, Paul and Nora Obeid; his great grandchildren, Elika Heir, Evelyn, Yusuf Hannun, Lina and Joud Moussawi; his nephew Nadim Haddad; and his nieces, Lamia and Samar Haddad.
